Delete your DualSub account and data

Request deletion

What to include

The Google email address you used with DualSub, if you signed in.
Whether you want to delete the account link and associated data, or only specific data.

Never send your Google password, access token, purchase receipt or payment-card information. We may ask you to verify control of the email address before deleting account-linked data.

What we delete or disconnect

The identifiable DualSub account link and stored account attributes under our control.
The corresponding RevenueCat customer record or attributes where deletion is legally and technically available.
Stored YouTube authorization data under our control; you can also revoke access immediately in Google Account permissions.
Identifiable support records and contextual-dictionary records under our control, when they can be matched to the verified request.

Data on your device

Vocabulary cards, review progress, local video state and preferences are primarily stored on your device. Clear DualSub's app storage or uninstall the app to remove that local data. Delete any JSON or Anki exports separately from the location where you saved them.

What may be retained

Google Play and RevenueCat may retain transaction records required for billing, fraud prevention, tax, accounting or legal compliance. Aggregated or de-identified analytics that cannot reasonably be linked back to your verified request may remain. Retained records are not used to recreate the deleted DualSub account.

Timeframe

We acknowledge valid requests as soon as practical and complete deletion within 30 days unless a longer period is required by law or needed to verify the requester. YouTube authorization data is deleted or revoked within 30 days.
